Recovery is possible. Even for you.

Recovery Academy is a gentle, self-paced place to work on your relationship with food, your body, and yourself — built by Stephanie Waitt, LPC-S, for Texoma Specialty Counseling. No plans to follow, no rules to fail. Just short lessons, real worksheets, and space to think.

Who this is for

If food and your body take up more room than you want them to.

Whether you're in treatment, between treatment, somewhere in the messy middle, or just starting to wonder whether things could feel easier — you're welcome here. Recovery Academy is a support and education space, not treatment or a diagnosis, and it works alongside whatever care you already have.

Foundations

Free to start. Four modules on what recovery actually looks like, living in the gray, intuitive eating, and the "am I sick enough?" question.

Self-Compassion

Quieting the harsh voice in your head, and learning to accept and care for yourself as you are today.

Body Image

Stop obsessing about how your body looks, and start noticing who you actually are underneath it.

Manage Feelings

Confidence for the hard days, stress that doesn't run the show, and everyday tools for big emotions.

Healthy Self

Movement that stays kind, plus a check-in on where exercise stops feeling like care.

How it works

Short lessons you can take at your own pace.

Watch or read

Every lesson has a short video that plays right here, plus the same ideas written out if watching isn't what you need today.

Write it down

Journal boxes, checklists, and reflection prompts live inside the lessons, so you can think on the page instead of just nodding along.

Come back whenever

Your place is saved. Skip a week, skip a month — the lessons will still be here, and so will your notes.
